Stephanie Robinson
Attorney Stephanie Robinson has served as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Records Officer
for the North Carolina Department of Transportation since 2019. In addition, she serves as lead
General Counsel for the North Carolina Global TransPark Authority located in Kinston, North
Carolina. Prior to serving in these roles, she spent ten years litigating at The Jeffers Law Firm in
Raleigh, North Carolina where her primary areas of practice were family law and criminal
defense. She earned her undergraduate degree from Winston-Salem State University in 2006
and her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2009.
Attorney Robinson has served on the Board of Directors for the Wake County Bar Association,
member of the Tenth Judicial District Bar, Capital City Lawyers Association, North Carolina
Association of Black Lawyers, Wake County Academy of Criminal Trial Lawyers and has held
multiple terms as a Board Member of the Wake Women Attorneys Association. In addition, she is
a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and an active member of Jack and
Jill of America, Incorporated (East Wake-Johnston Chapter Charter Member). In her spare time,
she enjoys public speaking, home improvement projects, traveling, and building elaborate Lego
forts with her son.
