Annual LAP Conference

We are planning to host the conference in person this year. BEFORE YOU REGISTER, PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING. DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
We ask that all who attend the conference event please be vaccinated. As this is a voluntary event to attend, we ask that if you have not been vaccinated, please opt out of joining us this year.
As of right now (September 2021), unless something dramatic changes, we will require all attendees to wear masks and practice social distancing. We will arrange all conference rooms to accommodate social distancing (e.g., 6 people at a round table that would normally hold 8 or 10).
Name badges will be color coded. A green dot will indicate that you are comfortable with an elbow tap. A red dot will indicate to others that you prefer to remain 6 feet apart at all times.
The hotel (as of now) is not requiring its staff to be vaccinated. All hotel staff will be masked and gloved.
Please note a couple of changes this year. LAP will not cover the cost of over-night hotel parking, which is $15 a day. Each participant who drives and is staying at the hotel will be responsible for their own parking charges.
Local Wilmington drivers who are not staying at the hotel will be able to park on the street for free or in the convention center paid lot for $13/day. It is our understanding that street parking options will be much better this time than in 2018. If you have health or mobility issues that require you to park nearer to the hotel, please let Susie know on your registration form so that we can accommodate you.
Saturday’s lunch is on your own this year and not part of the meals provided. If you are golfing or fishing, you will have the option to purchase a boxed lunch in advance (which you are strongly encouraged to do if you are golfing or fishing).
By registering for the conference, you expressly consent to all of the foregoing.
