Covid-19 Policy for In-Person Events
Recognizing the fluid situation with regard to Covid-19, North Carolina’s Lawyer Assistance Program has adopted the following policy for its in-person events.
Before attending an NC LAP event in person, participants will be required to either:
- Attest that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 via an online form as part of the registration process; or
- Provide proof at event registration of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the start of the event.
While attending NC LAP events, attendees will be required to:
- Wear masks while indoors unless they are eating or drinking while seated.
- Follow local and venue protocols at NC LAP events.
Anyone who cannot attest to being vaccinated or provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours of the event will not be allowed to enter the NC LAP event.
NC LAP Executive Director, Robynn Moraites, with the support of the NC LAP Board, will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will amend the guidelines as the situation changes. We have designed these policies after much thoughtful discussion with our priority being the health and safety of our members, staff and guests. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us all stay safe.
