Angela Carter Jones is a 2004 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. She was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2004 and began her career as the law firm of Hunton and Williams, LPP, now Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP. Angela worked as the firm’s Richmond Pro Bono Fellow where she was responsible for primarily handling divorce, custody and guardian cases, child and spousal support appeals, housing cases, asylum and adoption cases through the firm’s neighborhood Church Hill office and Central Virginia Legal Aid. At the conclusion of the two-year fellowship, Angela opened her own practice in Richmond where she primarily acted as guardians for adults and children and handled family law matters. Angela relocated to North Carolina in 2007 where she continued her solo practice upon admittance to the North Carolina bar focused on primarily on family law and criminal matters.
